Conveniently, Bornack has a complete list of Instructions for Use, User Manuals and other pertinent product information here. Search alphabetically for the product you’d like to know more about and simply click the link to download the file.

Petzl

Petzl is one of our favorite brands to work with. They’ve made it simple to access the technical information you need to inspect, use and maintain their gear. To access a Petzl product’s user manuals, follow these steps:

1. Head to the Petzl website: www.petzl.com

2. Use the search bar in the upper right corner to find your product.

3. Click on the model of the product you’re looking for. Remember to note added features such as “Fast” or “Vent” to help ensure you’re looking at the right product.

4. Select “Technical Information” located just under the product images.

5. Download the PDF of the Technical Notice you need. Note that there may be more than one as the notices relate to specific standardizing organizations. Look for the organization’s acronym at the end of the PDF title. (Example: technical-notice-AVAO-BOD-BOD-FAST-ANSI-2)

Singing Rock

Singing Rock takes a slightly different approach to organize their information and resources. Under PPE Inspection you can access:

• PPE Inspection Procedures: Choose a form-fillable document by item type, such as harnesses, helmets, connectors, etc. Or scroll to the bottom of the list and select the PPE Inspection Manual to get a complete of all guidelines, but lose out on the form-fillable capability.

• Lifetime of PPE: Review the retirement guidelines by product and production date.

• Additional Marking of Singing Rock Products: Learn recommended strategies to identify and organize Singing Rock products, and which strategies to avoid.

• Periodic Inspections: Interested in having Polygon Singing Rock perform periodic inspections of your gear? Here’s where you can learn more about this service.

• Product Recalls: Check to see if any of your gear has been recommended or requested for a recall, and why.
